Brian McCollough joined Stony Hill Advisors in 2024, bringing over 25 years of operations leadership, C-level strategy, and manufacturing experience to the team. As a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) and M&A Advisor, Brian specializes in representing lower middle market clients, focusing on creating win-win situations for all parties involved.

Brian holds an MBA from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from California State University, Long Beach. He is also a Certified Value Builder Advisor and a Certified Exit Planner (CEPA) accredited by the Exit Planning Institute.

Brian's professional journey began on the shop floor of a machine shop, gradually advancing to larger leadership roles across diverse settings, from small privately held companies to billion-dollar publicly traded corporations. This breadth of experience provides him with a profound understanding of both the operational challenges faced by frontline workers and the strategic issues encountered by executive leaders.

Beyond merely planning for a client's endgame, Brian is passionate about crafting outstanding companies that maximize value for their owners. Whether guiding clients towards a complete exit, succession within the family, internal sale, or strategic partnership for growth, Brian is committed to achieving optimal outcomes.

Residing in Cypress, Texas, with his wife and two daughters, Brian enjoys maintaining his physical fitness, pursuing his culinary pursuits, spending quality time with family, and engaging in woodworking, metalworking, and plastic projects in his workshop.
