Dave Dickens
Dave Dickens is a seasoned professional with a diverse background spanning technology, business, and finance over a three-decade career. He currently serves as Executive Vice President of Technology at Stony Hill Advisors. He has held senior technology and leadership positions at prominent companies such as Texas Instruments, GE Aircraft Engines, Semicoa Semiconductor, and Amkor Technologies. Dave served nearly two decades in the semiconductor industry, responsible for entire product lines, multi-million dollar P&Ls, and management of a worldwide team of engineers. His expertise extends to semiconductor design and manufacturing, industrial control systems, and software systems/integration.
Dave has a strong background in business and entrepreneurship. He has twice developed teams and grown semiconductor businesses from startup to >$100M ARR in three years. He has worked in a wide variety of technology industries, including manufacturing, consumer electronics, PC industry, telecommunications, fintech, and software. After two decades in business & technology industries, Dave started a wealth management practice, which he ran for over a decade before exiting the business and selling his practice in 2024.
Beyond his corporate & entrepreneurial endeavors, Dickens earned Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Dayton (Dayton, OH). Dave studied at Duke University, in their Executive Program in Financial Planning, and holds the Certified Financial Planner™ designation as well as securities licenses in Series 7, 63, and 65. He is also actively involved in community organizations such as the Alzheimer's Association, Pull-Thru Network, and Autism Society, underscoring his dedication to social responsibility.
